A common hobby:

cuticle picking.

Who isn't guilty?

Just a silent minute, here or there, with nothing of use to do.
Perhaps it's between games in gym, or when the lunchroom is all but empty.

Either way, I'm sure that my Civics class, at the very least, all have clean cuticles. In case you needed any cuticle-clean people, you've got at least 30 for the job.

Just curious: how many people inspect a persons cuticles to judge them? I'd say only a few, if any. But why then do we spend so much time picking them?

Yet another mystery of the universe.

A commonly stolen item:

breath.

Well, it's no wonder, considering it doesn't even take a person to steal someone's breath away. Just a stare, a thought, something of unusual beauty, or just a bizarre occurrence.

Oh yeah, did I mention you take my breath away, hot kid who sits across from me? Well you kind of do. Like a lot.
Cause I like you. Like, a lot.

An observation:

everyone watches.

Some watch the newspapers, with news and sports, politics and obituaries, advice, cartoons, and crosswords. Some watch TV, dramas, news, documentaries, reality (which isn't really real), and just about everything else the human race has got to film. And all the fans, of books, movies, pop movements, music, and sports watch those more closely than their own health. Some watch the sky, the animals, the forests, the sunsets and rises that mark this day as one.

Some, of course, watch others. Family feuds, friends, lovers, enemies, and celeberties.
And a special, special class of person watches complete strangers. They drop pennies for others to find, see the truth in each eye, know everything without trying.
They, I observe, are the best observers of all.

Observations.

Observation: taking notice.
Thoughtful, quiet people tend to be the best at it.

Observer: someone who takes notice.
The casual observer is often invisible to the rest of the world. The skilled observer always is.
